The Check is in the Mail...

Well, here we sit waiting for a check to be delivered by FedEx... I have been waiting for this check since Wednesday. Its to cover the check we wrote for the Lincoln on Friday. It was suppose to be delivered by DHL on Wednesday. After I sat here all day and no DHL, I called Fidelity and got the tracking number and called DHL. They said they couldn't find the address. I told them that they had delivered here before without problem and that I was listed in the phone book and Fidelity had provided our phone number on the shipping bill, but they didn't even try - Very Lame. They said they had returned the shipment to Fidelity. I called Fidelity back and they said they would stop payment on the check and send another one using FedEx this time.

So, I wrote DHL a really nasty customer service email and got a response back basically saying they were 'idiots' and they would try and retrieve the shipment and deliver it ASAP. Then, yesterday (Friday) DHL shows up with the first check. I was off to the bank to deposit the check and thought I had better call Fidelity first and tell them. Well, they had already stopped payment on the check in hand... So, again, here we sit waiting for FedEx to show up with the second check. Its amazing how something so simple can get so screw up for days and days...
