Ho Van Gone...

We did get the old Ford Van down to the dealer and let it go. It was knocking all the way, but lasted until we fulfilled our stated obligation of 'driving it to their lot'. I was literally sweating all the way, besides being VERY concerned about getting there, I had the heater on high to draw as much heat from the motor as possible all the way down there. Right before the dealership, the cops had all the streets blocked off for a parade so we had to drive many extra blocks to get'er'done...

While there, a bunch of firetrucks drove by the dealership and we could see a bunch of black smoke down the road. Pam wondered what it was and I told her that they had probably tried to move the van... Anyway, it is gone and totally their problem now.

The more we drive and check out the new car, the more we love it. Its hard to believe a Ford owned company created it... Today, we were getting stuff for the upcoming 'Here Today but Gone to Maui' party and got a bunch of long Tiki torches. We had to use the drop down rear seat to fit the torches in and it all worked great. We love it when a plan comes together here in DaHo...
