One Day Left...
The party is tomorrow. And, we just got our first RSVP. I don't think the locals know about RSVPs here in DaHo. Lots of people have said they are coming, or have told other people that they are coming, but no 'official' RSVP until a few minutes ago. I am stunned at how good the house and 'estate' are looking. ALL of the stuff on our large 'to do' lists is done - An official first for us here at the house. And, we even did lots of stuff that has never been on the list.
We have lots of Luau party decorations and Leis and a Limbo Game and a bartender or two and a bar and a karaoke room and billiards and a slot machine and, and - the list goes on and on...
We also still have ants in the fireplace, but that might turn into a party game later on in the party... We are also going to have the famous "Just Say NO" game with the clothespins that has been such a hit at all past parties. We have advertised 'fabulous' prizes for the game winners on the invites. Those might take the form of garage sale items in the garage sale pile or left over food as the case may demand...
So, I just got an inflatable life vest for me while I’m around fishing waters. Water in the lungs is an immediate and all consuming event. After ‘breathing’ water a few times, which is very easy to do with an air hole in your neck, I have been very leery about being around water much - except for fishing which has had a couple of exciting moments... This has been very frustrating since I have loved water and fishing all of my life. I haven’t even been out of boats unless they are real big, like ferrys. I just hope it can float me and all the fly fishing gear I now have…
Well, we will take pictures of the party and post them here so you all can see what you missed here in DaHo...
