Pam's New Ride...

After an aborted attempt or two, we finally found the above Lincoln LS that Pam loves and so do I. It's Fords version of the large Lexus or BMW and actually they did quite a good job on it. It has good power, good tunes, great creature comforts, a large trunk with fold down rear seats for large items like plywood, bags of cement, and other Ho stuff, and is very nice looking.

I was hoping to find an AWD car, but this one has an Advanced Traction Control system that uses the ABS brakes and engine to control driving conditions to avoid skids and the such in the bad weather or other adversaries.

The only 'issue' is that we traded in the old van (see below...) and we have to drive it down there to them yet. They asked us what condition it was in, and we told them that we would drive it down there to their lot and they seemed OK with that. So, I am hoping that I can make that happen...

This is a true Win-Win situation - Pam is very happy with the new LS, and I am very happy to get my Jeep back. The Jeep is now out of warranty and too expensive to keep putting lots of miles on it, so now it will retire and go fishing with me here in DaHo...
