Garden Ho...

Pam has been wanting a real garden since we moved here. I have been putting it off, since I have always found it much easier to buy what vegies you want, or need, when you want/need them. Every time I had a garden, it was lots of work for very few positive enjoyments. I am all for an herb garden, but with general vegies, my experience has been that you either have way too many, or none, when you grow your own. Anyway, Pam now almost has her much desired garden.

Our gardener/estate maintainer from last year, which we liked very much, went crazy and wants $ 37.50 hour this year. In DaHo, doctors and dentists are the only ones that make that much - so he is gone. So, we are working with our friend and fellow pool player, Storm, to get the outside stuff done. He rototilled the future garden area yesterday and did a great job. We had a little 'issue' with some sprinkler plumbing, but that was my problem and we got it all fixed up. Today, I was building a rabbit/rodent fence around the garden and after that is all done, am going to install a complete automatic irrigation system. Then, Pam can do her work and it will all pretty much take care of itself...

Pam has been planting all sorts of garden items in little 'pots' around the windows and in the greenhouse, that will be transplanted into the garden when its ready to go. They are growing like crazy at this point.

I cleaned up my tool area and workbench in the garage. This hasn't been done for some months and there were lots of bags of items I had acquired over the winter piled up. Now, its all put away/up and looking good.

I checked with the vascular surgeon and my aortic aneurysm has grown a little so I am going back for another ultrasound in July so he can chart its progress.

My video guy that is converting all my old home movies to digital, copied them all to my external hard disk from his MAC computer. I cannot read any of them, so we will have to try it again, when he returns. He is a clown in his 'real' job and travels all over to various fairs and festivals...

Well, that's about all that's 'print to fit', as they say, here in DaHo...
