Ho Gas...

Another chapter in the "No Good Deed goes Unpunished" book was revealed today. Pam went out to check on her seedlings in the greenhouse, by the new garden, and said she smelled gas... The gas main is by the new garden that was just rototilled and fenced... I cannot smell, so she asked the neighbors to come over and they also smelled gas, so we called the emergency gas company number and their guy came out to check it out. It resulted in finding a leak in the gas line that I had done by putting in one of the garden fence posts. It is now midnight and the gas guy just came in and relit all the pilot lights after fixing the gas line leak problem. And, with all that, another chapter in the book is closed. Maybe $37.50 an hour wasn't that bad of a deal afterall...

We are getting ready to leave to go to California very early Friday morning. It should be a fun trip, since Pam and I both have been having flu symptoms and there is nothing like a 1,500 mile weekend drive to enjoy such things...
