Mother's Day and More Pool Awards...

Mother's Day was a big event here in DaHo. Pam received Flowers, Plants and various gifts from all the 'Right' people and was very happy, as was her Mother. I took them both to Jackpot for the day and they had fun playing the slot machines and Blackjack. We had a great buffet dinner there and we had great home, and hand, made vanilla ice cream and strawberries when we returned home. I say 'home, and hand, made' because the ice cream maker I purchased for the day, didn't work - which we didn't find out until we had already made it with a real vanilla bean and all. So, I had to 'freeze' it by hand and a hand mixer. It was way too much fun, but turned out great.

Pam finally had her massage and pamper day at the Sunsations Day Spa. I had given this gift to her last year and she had never used it. So, for this year, I got her to use it... She was there for hours and loved it.

My latest 9-ball league that we have been playing in for the past three months ended this week. Our team came in first place and I personally also came in first place. I beat the second place guy by 7 games. This is my first time at being the first place shooter in the league. More trophies to come...

We went to the Monster Truck show on Saturday night. It was BIG fun as usual. I took the new Kodak camera and shot 180 pictures and videos. It will shoot video as long as you have memory which is a very good feature. It worked well in low light situations and the 10X zoom lens is great for getting those detailed shots.

The rivers and streams fishing season starts this Saturday. So, I am planning on going to my favorite trout fishing spot very early in the morning. I have been checking it out for months and its full of large brown, rainbow and golden trout.

The garden is finally all done and partially planted. That is all great news. The not so good news is that the stuff Pam planted is not doing too well. I don't know if its not getting enough water, from the new irrigation system I put together, or the weed control soil is causing a problem or what. But, we will get it all worked out and well be eating all those 'valuable' vegies sometime soon...
