Worse News...

The results of the PET scan were passed on to Pam, who has the Power of Attorney for her mother. The results were not good. The entire left lung is affected. I am not sure what all that means, but she is having her first visit with the Oncologist (cancer doctor) on Tuesday. I guess we will learn a lot more about the details of what is going on and what will happen at that time.

Pam's sister, Roberta, and her husband came down yesterday and we all went over to Flora's house to tell her the news. She was completely stunned by the results. Pam has been there since then and will be there at least through tomorrow, but things have seemed to smooth out quite a bit.
