Gobble, Gobble...

Happy Turkey Day to all!!

We are having Pam's sister Roberta and her new squeeze and family over for happy Turkey day. I hear he is a butcher and will be well received. He is bringing a "Magnificent" prime rib roast. I don't think I have ever cooked a "Magnificent" prime rib so it should be fun. Pam and Roberta are making a Turkey and all the fixings. Roberta is coming early and staying late for once. Usually, she is here for dinner and takes off shortly thereafter. Pam is looking forward to spending some quality 'cooking' time with her this time.

Tomorrow is Black Friday. It's my favorite shopping day of the year. There are always very good deals around spend money, and this one should be really good due to the economy.

Last night, we watched Barbara WaWa interviewed the Obamas. It was a very good interview that showed them as regular down home folks with the usual issues, trials and tribulations. We can hardly wait to see how he does as a president now that he is the anointed one.

Lots of stuff happening with the business. All the new packaging tubes and labels are here finally. The office is full of boxes. We got the sample needles from our new vendor and there were a few issues, but overall they are going to be great and will sell well. We will be getting another set of samples to be sure all is good, after all the changes in the first set of samples. We should have the first 100 sets of needles here before Christmas. At that point, we convert from a manufacturing company to a distribution company and start going after every dealer and distributor that exists.

We are going to end up with about 100 of each needle, or the parts to make them, left of the ones that we handmade. If I can figure out how to polish them like the new ones, we can also sell them, as they are pretty much the same as the new ones with the polish job.

Now, we have to convert all of the packaging labels, build new jigs to put the labels on the new tubes, develop the new in tube instruction booklet and all sorts of big fun. Never a dull moment around DaHo Products...

On the pool playing front, we have played two matches since the last email. This last one was played early due the my operation next week. I did OK on both of them and did get two more break and run, table runs. Which puts me in front in that department again, I think. I lost two games in the last match. I ended up having a tough shot that I should have played safe on and I would have probably won both of them. Some day I will learn that playing safe is the better thing to do most often in that situation.

Well, I must go - guests to greet and food to cook as it is Thanksgiving here in DaHo...
